Software Engineer (PHP)

We're inviting you to work together on products and applications that will help our customers to safely and conveniently manage their purchases at G2A.COM. We are looking for a PHP Developer who will help us develop and maintain applications and service platforms and focus on the new project we're planning to create.

Most of our products are made of PHP, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Rabbit. The features we are providing are payouts, AML, and fraud prevention.
Your job would be to create new functionalities, update products, test your code, review code of others, plan architecture with team, and all that in Scrum methodology.
Most of our applications run on Kubernetes, so it is easy to deploy them, or make some changes to the environment. Our team is full of open-minded, cheerful people and it is a must-have for you to be a positive person too.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in PHP language
• Experience in working with Laravel/ Lumen framework
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Rabbit and Redis
• English language that allows you to read documentation, and use the appropriate nomenclature in projects
• High level of autonomy

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Golang
• Knowledge of Java

• Maintain existing solutions and functionalities
• Updating dependencies to the latest versions

• Create unit tests
• Taking care of code quality and application performance
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Sharing knowledge across the team
