Join G2A.COM as a Junior Account Specialist and develop your skills in a team that values quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement of accounting processes. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, work with documents and financial data in a dynamic environment, and have a real impact on the smooth functioning of the team. You're a perfect match for the role, if:
- You have at least 2 years of experience working in an accounting department in a similar role and are comfortable handling day-to-day accounting tasks
- You have practical, well-established knowledge of the Accounting Act as well as current tax regulations (VAT, CIT)
- You communicate in English at a minimum B2 level and are comfortable using it in both spoken and written form in your daily work
- You are proficient in accounting systems and have a very good command of MS Office, especially Excel, which you use in practice
- You are characterized by independence, high attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to meet deadlines
- You are communicative, responsible, and work well in a team environment
- You can adapt to a dynamic environment, respond flexibly to changes, and effectively prioritize tasks
Additional assets:
- Knowledge of SAP Business One
- Experience working in an accounting office
- Student status
Your responsibilities:
- Supporting the maintenance of full accounting records in accordance with applicable laws and internal standards
- Ongoing and accurate posting of purchase and sales documents as well as bank statements
- Reconciling, settling, and analyzing entries in accounting accounts, with attention to their accuracy and consistency
- Timely execution of payments and monitoring of settlements with contractors
- Preparing (under supervision) tax declarations (VAT, CIT) and data required for financial statements
- Supporting the accounting team in day-to-day operational processes
- Collaborating with other departments in document flow and resolving any discrepancies
