As a Fraud Prevention Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization and its customers from fraudsters. By being on the light side of the force with us, you will help us identify and prevent dishonest transactions and ensure the security of our customers.
You’re a great match for the role, if:
- You have at least two to five years of experience as an analyst in payment fraud area within e-commerce and/or fintech
- You have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL – including the ability to combine and analyze large data sets to identify patterns of behavior and drive decision making
- You demonstrated the ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills to inform managers and other stakeholders of results
- You have strong ability to manage multiple projects and programs at the same time to complete work
- You can critically analyze, evaluate, and interpret transaction information
- You have an ability to effectively challenge limitations and assumptions
- You have quantitative and analytical skills with an ability to understand new analytical concepts
- You're always looking for simple and optimal solutions
- You can think creatively and can generate new ideas for making work more efficient
- You want to acquire new knowledge and develop your skills
- You have knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI
It will be great if you also:
- Have knowledge of Python (entry level acceptable with eagerness to learn)
Your responsibilities:
- Analyzing data to better understand potential risks, concerns and outcomes of decisions
- Identifying economic and financial fraud trends that pose a risk to the company and effectively mitigating it if possible
- Aggregating data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment
- Optimizing risk metrics
- Creating reports, summaries, presentations, and processes
- Collaborating with other team members to effectively analyze and present data
- Developing systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects
- Monitoring internal and external data points that may affect the risk level of a decision
- Identifying control deficiencies and providing recommendations to tech and non-technical audiences, both in oral and written if required
- Conducting A/B tests headed to optimize risk metrics
- Investigating provided information
