You're a perfect match for the role, if:
- You have 2–3 years of experience in accounting (AP, AR, GL), finance, or audit, and you're eager to further develop in an international environment
- You possess solid theoretical knowledge of accounting principles
- You are able to take an analytical approach to processes and identify areas for improvement
- You demonstrate a proactive mindset and are comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
- You have English proficiency at minimum B2 level (C1 is a strong advantage) and you can communicate confidently with international partners
- You're well-organized, work independently, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
- You have practical knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems
Additional advantages include:
- You have experience working with external accounting firms abroad
- You have knowledge of accounting and/or tax regulations in countries such as Hong Kong, the US, or EU countries
- You have experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One)
- You have experience in an international company or within group structures
Your responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for international entities (purchase, sales, and bank transactions) as a core part of operational work
- Performing monthly and annual closing activities (including provisions, balance sheet valuations, and accruals and deferrals)
- Coordinating accounting processes between group companies and external accounting offices abroad
- Verifying the accuracy of financial data and performing analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and intercompany settlements
- Participating in the preparation of tax settlements in cooperation with international advisors
- Collaborating with external auditors and supporting audit processes
- Preparing annual and periodic financial statements in accordance with international and local accounting standards
- Supporting the preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Actively contributing to the improvement, standardization, and automation of finance and accounting processes
- Proposing and implementing solutions to increase process efficiency and improve the quality of financial data
- Ongoing collaboration with other departments within the organization to improve information flow and financial processes
