- You have experience in configuring and maintaining Kafka clusters
- You have solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in IT operations
- You have extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems, including familiarity with the best practices
- You can identify and resolve performance issues of Linux-based systems
- You have experience with Ansible for configuration management and tasks automation in multi-cloud setups
- You are proficient in Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning
- You have knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- You can work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with developers, operations, and other stakeholders
- You have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find innovative solutions
- You can clearly and efficiently communicate to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical team members
An additional advantage would be:
- Experience in configuring and managing Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Azure Databricks, Kubernetes, Apache Airflow and Ceph (S3 compliant storage)
- Manage Kafka clusters and provide support for development teams using these clusters
Your responsibilities:
- Actively support the development and maintenance of the Data Platform
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment
- Utilize VMware and Proxmox virtualization technologies
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Implement configuration management and tasks automation with Ansible
- Manage and maintain version control systems like GIT
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development and deployment processes
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and security tools
- Optimize performance of Linux-based systems
- Create and maintain process documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency across deployments
